Advertising Account Executive:
Account executives are the link between the client and the various departments within an advertising agency. They handle the day-to-day logistics of an advertising campaign, and their role includes ascertaining the client's specific needs, maintaining budgetary control, and co-coordinating the efforts of the creative team.
Advertising Art Director:
Art directors, or creatives, are tasked with conceptualizing and bringing to life the clients advertising message, in unique, imaginative and memorable ways. They may work in a wide variety of media, including television, radio, print and online. Along with copywriters, the art director is the architect of an advertising campaign, making the clients vision come to life.
Copywriter:
Copywriters are the wordsmiths of the advertising industry, and create catch phrases and slogans, or "short copy" as well as advertorials and advertising text, or "long copy." Like art directors, they may work in a variety of media, and their main function is to distill the client's ideas into short, catchy, memorable written material.
Marketing Executives:
Marketing executives are involved in all aspects of marketing: planning and strategizing, brand building, advertising, promotion, public relations and more. They may market products or services, organizations, or even ideas. It's a field that combines creative, managerial and administrative and even financial aspects into one, as well as tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of a particular campaign focused on boosting awareness of the specific items they market.
Public Relations Officers:
Public relations officers are employed by a specific organization, to take care of that organizations PR needs, unlike their compatriots, the public relations account executive, who is employed by an agency. Both manage the reputation of their clients, creating press releases, drafting statements in response to problems or situations that may arise, and strategizing as to the best way to showcase a particular organization in the media.
