FAQ
General:
What is LaunchMind?
LaunchMind is a platform that connects employers with graduates, allowing them to find and target suitable candidates to an exacting specification. Our goal is to raise the visibility of talented graduates and university students to leading multinational companies, SMEs and exciting startups.
Why is LaunchMind different from graduate job boards?
Our platform is a proactive approach to recruitment that enables employers to directly advertise their vacancies to graduates that perfectly match their key criteria. Through LaunchMind, employers can encourage suitable graduates to apply for their vacancies and avoid the time and cost involved with sifting through the thousands of junk applications produced through job boards.
Furthermore, to minimise risk to employers, searching our graduate database and reading CVs is totally free. We only charge employers a nominal fee when the graduates they contact respond positively. This is when a graduate clicks the job link or the accepts the contact details request they receive.
Recruiters:
How do I search the database for potential candidates?
There are two types of search: (1) basic and (2) advanced. Click on the "resumes" tab to start searching for candidates. Enter keywords to find graduates with the desired skills/experience and then narrow down the results by using the advanced search filter options such as: university, degree subject, UCAS points and many others.
Can you explain the purpose of a job link?
A job link can be sent to graduates to encourage them to apply for a vacancy you feel they will be interested in. This is a great way for employers to advertise jobs and drive suitable graduates to their careers website or application form.
How do I send a graduate a job link?
If you find a suitable graduate that you would like to send a job link to, then click their corresponding
icon and follow the necessary steps. You are only charged if the graduate clicks the job link within a prespecified time frame.
How do I access the contact details for a specific graduate?
If you have found suitable graduates that you would like to contact directly, then click their corresponding
icon and follow the necessary steps. You will only be charged for the graduates that accept your contact details request.
How do I create a shortlist?
You can create a shortlist by pressing the
icon. You will then be prompted to label the shortlist. After that, you can press the corresponding
icon next to the graduates you wish to shortlist and then drag & drop them into the correct label.
How do I buy job links/contact requests?
You can buy these through the secure area of the LaunchMind website. Click on the 'Edit Account' link in the top right corner and under the 'Product Management' heading you will be able to select different packages. We currently accept payment through credit card, bank transfer and PayPal.
